Biel Pavillon Royal

The evening brought guests into the world of the Little Match Girl, a tale written in 1845

A window to the soul

The theme of the night was Hans Christian Andersen’s Little Match Girl, a tale written over a hundred years ago. To bring the story to life, the little girl was actually invited to the event, spending the evening interacting with guests.

On the left and right sides of the stage, there were two screens which were filled with images of different windows to peer through. These images featured scenes of family bonding, with loved ones having dinner and happy together. Guests were able to take the place of the young girl standing outside of the window, looking at what she did not have.
