Diane & Sami
A Place Where Only Lovers Go
Marriage venues come in all shapes and sizes. As event planners, we take pride in molding a select location to fit a couple’s vision. For Diane and Sami’s ceremony, the chosen property was a blank canvas: the groom planned to turn a land he owns in Jezzine into a wedding venue, so this was the perfect opportunity to take it out on a test run.
We started with landscape planning, and throughout six months perfected the location by carefully introducing the flora and fleshing out the various areas. We made sure to include a lot of pampa grass, a personal favorite of Diane. The outdoor ceremony took place during sunset’s magic hour. 200 intimate guests watched as the bride made her way down the aisle in a beautiful lace gown accompanied by tiers upon tiers of serene white flowers. However, the emotional ceremony didn’t end with the wedding vows, as a tribute to loved ones lost, Diane and Sami released a cloud of biodegradable balloons into the dusk sky.
When it came time for dinner; things took on a more upbeat tone. We arranged the different zoning cards in a ribbon installation that guided guests to their seats while flowing with the wind. Tables and resting areas all mirrored the rustic theme with natural beige tones that we accentuated with lavish flower and candle centerpieces, and hay straw benches. While the night fell our newlyweds celebrated their union surrounded by the love of their dearest and nearest. They rested assured knowing they set a positive precedent for all the future weddings that will take place in this magical venue.
