A breath of new life
To breathe new life into the Mercedes-Benz showroom in Dbayeh, a 10-day concept store invited visitors into a world of art, fashion, food, and design. The team was able to implement a fresh concept created by Leo Burnett and Mercedes-Benz, resulting in a truly unique event which created an inviting feeling in the showroom and allowed people to get a glimpse of new models and the many sides of the Mercedes-Benz personality.
The showroom was divided into segments for different styles and tastes—whether sporty, outdoorsy, or fashion-forward, there was a space for everyone. Designers, artists, and cooks filled the showroom with their one-of-a-kind creations. Some of these treats included Hussein Hadid’s kibbeh nayeh with truffles, Kamal Mouzawak’s Labneh cones and fillings, and Alexis Couquelet’s foie gras. Matisse Events also worked with designers for the ultimate pièce de résistance: an exhibition of works of art created using spare parts of Mercedez-Benz cars. These designers included creatives from the worlds of product design (Carlo Massoud), furniture design (Bokja Design, Sandra Macaron, Nada Debs), fashion design (Mira Hayek, Sarah’s Bag) and jewelry design (Moukarzel). Performances by local musicians Safar and Karim Khneisser created a relaxing and fun backdrop while visitors became acquainted with the many sides of Mercedes-Benz.
