International Lineup for an Intimate Setting

BeitMisk is a real estate property that combines the promise of tomorrow with the certainty of the past. Located on the outskirts of Baabdat, this gated community serves as a luxurious haven for those who wish to escape the hustle and bustle of Beirut. Every summer, BeitMisk opens its doors to the public for their unique music festival: Summer Misk. What sets it apart from other music festivals is its intimacy. The Summer Misk venue holds a capacity of just 2000 people, which makes for a warm and homey gathering.

Since 2014, the Matisse Events team has had the responsibility of bringing Summer Misk to life. Our goal was to give every single attendee the full BeitMisk experience. So we worked on a concept where guests would come for the concert, but stay for the atmosphere. Upon arrival, concert goers are greeted by a 16-meter wooden bar and food trucks laid out over the backdrop of Lebanon’s green mountain tops. Visitors could grab a cocktail, nibble on delicious bites while enjoying lively conversation. As the sun sets, the same setting is kept in place to embrace guests under warm fairy lights as they bask in the sweet summer breeze.

However, our responsibilities did not end there. One of the many perks that came with the Summer Misk festival was the chance to collaborate with international artists. Matisse Events was in charge of working on a diverse array of technical riders and stage setups – all in all, an exciting and challenging experience for the entire team. Highlights of the Summer Misk lineup include Garou, Rami Marcel Khalife, Goran Bregovic, Yuri Buenaventura, Natalie Imbruglia, and Wyclef Jon, each armed with their jaw-dropping performance.
